Greetings to all the family . I keep hearing that you can track how many accounts a person holds on imvu thru their ip address. I have been and am being bullied online because I rp a male. I am more then tired of all the crap I have to face just because of rp ing as a male. it is no ones business what I do on here because I solely play on my dime and no one elses. I don't know what else to do except to flag their accounts but nothing is being done to stop them from harassing me .. to be perfectly honest if this was to happen in rl I would have no problem in breaking his neck . but because this is online and I am not
very handy with technology I suffer in silence .. I need advice on how to handle this situation.. and yes I have flagged their accounts 3 times and
I have also notified imvu support who say they do not tolerate this kind of behavior but we shall see . Thank you all for listening to me and for offering any help in advance..

Block them. If you run your own rooms, blocked people are unable to enter your rooms.

Don, I know we have spoken about you telling me that there's no way to see if a person has multi accounts by checking their ip address and also that you have to do some hard digging if you want to find out if someone has multi accounts.. but would it be possible to learn how to find if someone has multi accounts. is that a class I can take or some type of app I can use on imvu to help me see. cause I haters that swear they can tell I have multi'd

Step 1) Create a tracking ip logger: https://iplogger.org/
Step 2) Anyone who enters your room, give them the link and demand they click on it.
Step 3) If they refuse to click on the link, then block and boot them
Step 4) If they click on the link, you will receive their IP address
Step 5) Write down their username and IP address into a document
Step 6) If two people have the same IP address, then they are most likely the same person or live together or hang out in the same building. Boot and block people who show up on your document twice with more than 1 account under the same IP address, if you do not like that person.
Step 7) Enter the IP address into a VPN checker: https://www.ipqualityscore.com/vpn-ip-address-check
Step 8) If the IP address is a VPN, then they are hiding their real address. Block and boot them.

Hello, glad you posted this because I can more then just help. Here is what you DEFINITELY can do that has 0% failure rate if you do every step correctly.

1. Reset your router which usually has a very tiny reset hole that you have to poke into with a thin object. This will also automatically reset your Ipv4 so if they're tracking you via that it already eliminates that option for them.

2. Use a adrestic IP adress via your router control pannel. based of your router, go on youtube and find yourself a tutorial on how to open your provider's router control pannel as a admin.

3. Once you are in that control pannel, find something along the lines of "network tunnel" "wifi tunnel" etc.... which you can definitely identify by the fact that your ip is linked to it and shown by it.

4. Once you found that network tunnel, open it and you normally based of your network provider have the option to turn your network tunnel from static to dynamic allowing your IPv6 to temporarely be cloaked in completely from any ip grabbers and so forth. Once your wifi auto resets or your router updates it no longer will.

5. To make sure it doesn't stay temporarely go ahead and use a VPN that works based of network tunnels that are already opened on your wifi such as NordVPN, Bitdefender and McAfee.

If you closely follow all of these steps I can guarentee you that you or your ip will never be able to be tracked again as long as your subscriptions and dynamic network tunnels are on.

To my understanding, most home ISP's use static IP addresses. Even if you do get it to rotate IP addresses, all of the IP's it assigns will still reveal your relative location and the name of your ISP; which is more than enough information to track a specific person with an ip logger.
