Why do you still use IMVU in 2023?

Monetary reasons aside, I'm curious why you guys keep coming back or continue to use IMVU. Is there any other reason besides financial gain?

For me, it was definitely the community and the individuals I met throughout the years. I formed some amazing connections and had great times in chatrooms roleplaying. One of those connections actually encouraged me to create. From 2011 till now, I've progressed so far in terms of 3d modelling, texturing, and animation. Being able to bring my ideas to life and seeing people engage with me and my shop was an amazing feeling.

Yet in the recent years, I'm not sure if I lost my passion or spark but I just cannot bring myself to create anymore. Does anyone else feel the same?

Just meeting new people, I made a few close friends on vu. Also I find cosplaying (with a little roleplaying) fun, so that's another reason. Maybe I'd get into being a creator sometime in the future, cuz I do wanna make some unique creative outfits. Whenever I try to find something specific in the shop and I can't, I'd always think about being a creator myself and making it :)

Best way to socialize without going out. I have problems in talking to strangers outside but there is no problem like this when I am imvu it feels like we are completely different there, and I will not deny this it's somehow addictive can't point out why? But even if there is Noone to talk there I keeps checking it out.

Nope I have never tried second life, I have heard it's name but never tried it didn't appeared to me as realistic as imvu, I played avakin life before and the main reason to leave that was that it became dull plus it was more like a game completely on imagination rather than being realistic as imvu
