Requirements/Tips For BM Products

I've been out of the loop for quite a while and imagine things might've changed by now, especially with IMVU pushing 'security' harder than ever and more and more people catching trivial bans. I've already done a good measure of research just to try and prepare myself, but I thought it might be sensible to ask directly and see if there's any essentials and requirements, or some pro tips I might've missed in my browsing. So alas:

1. Is IMVULite or T3DE required for safe, long(er)-term useage of BM products?
2. What would be the best way to go about getting BM products past PR? Is Deep Client necessary?
3. Would my account be flagged as suspicious to go from the regular, tracked client, to say VULite or T3?
4. I assume I'd need a non-day one dev account to even get BM prods in for my main; do you guys still sell them - or is this an unnecessary step now?
5. As a follow on from point 3, is a VPN required to not be flagged as sus?

Apologies if these points have been answered previously; I'm sure they have, but I figure it makes more sense to just be direct about asking and getting up-to-date info. In terms of context and the product specifics, I had a lot of difficulty getting things past PR years ago; eventually the dev account's VIP ran out and I assume having payment info linked to a BM dev and my actual account to which I'm sending the stuff would be a red flag for VU staff. (Although the IP would match, so maybe it's irrelevant unless using VPN?) As far as prod-specifics go, I'll be looking at primarily just triggers and furniture, maybe a room if required.

-A little ranty, but trying to cover all my bases. Any pre-emptive advice would be greatly appreciated!

The mafia makes 3 clients. Using at least 1 of them is recommended, no matter if you are using BM products or not. But yes, especially if you plan on doing anything to break IMVU's TOS. The default vanilla client is crammed full of spyware designed to catch sex products and their users, as well as anyone else breaking IMVU's TOS.

2. What would be the best way to go about getting BM products past PR? Is Deep Client necessary?

The recommendation is to completely by-pass PR. PR is not needed, unless you are reselling the products. If you are a re-seller, then it is recommended that you purchase re-seller products / instructions, which are only sold on special request.

3. Would my account be flagged as suspicious to go from the regular, tracked client, to say VULite or T3?

You receive 2 versions of the product:
1) PRE-DEV - this version is PC only, no setup required, no dev account needed
2) DIY - this version works on both PC and Mobile, but requires a PC and a dev account to setup

5. As a follow on from point 3, is a VPN required to not be flagged as sus?

We do not recommend using a VPN, unless you are already device banned from IMVU.
(it should not be possible to device ban you if you are using one of our clients)
If you are device banned from IMVU, then we recommend using all of the following to get around the ban:
1) A VPN with a static IP
2) A mafia made client
3) A new internet browser (only use this to login to IMVU's website)
4) A script blocker addon for your new browser
5) Only purchase stuff on IMVU via Gift Cards and Privacy Cards

That's a huge help, thank you!! Won't be reselling, just personal use so that's an extra load off there. Honestly that's why I came here too, the extra level of thought and support that goes into your products is refreshing. VU staff should've be taking notes over the past decade ..wishful thinking, I guess.

Really appreciate you taking the time to fill me in! I'll do some more reading to better ascertain which is the ideal client for my needs. Off the cuff I'm assuming T3 is a better dev tool and Lite is better for general use.

Correct. There is also a 3rd client named "Deep", which is geared towards BM users.
