I've noticed a lot of the graphics and photo-related advice is quite old now (some even by a decade); software and hardware alike has come a long way since, so I thought it might be useful to compile an up-to-date index of tips, tech and tricks for those who want the most out of their graphics and photos alike. (Myself included.)

I'm sure we all know by now about the hires* commands, or that NoBg shots using the camera creates higher res PNG files. But what else?

• Nvidia / AMD Control Panel Tweaks?
• Optimal in-app settings to use in IMVU itself?
• ReShade?

Drop your knowledge bombs below; no matter how basic or advanced.

Just a few tips that I find useful to get my best shots (I use VU Classic Client).
Minimize chat box and use keys to get the best frame.
• up+down: zoom in and out
• ctrl+up/down key: camera rotate up/down
• shift+up/down:camera pan up/down
• shift+left/right: camera pan left/right

GPU control panels tweaks can do wonders, I use that it all the time get rid of the jagged edges. It can be a bit taxing though, lol.

Can the client use ReShade?

I'm not sure. I assume it can't use ReShade, but I might be wrong and never tried. I've seen Unreal Tournament '99 using RS, so who knows haha. Then again, comparing the Unreal Engine to the IMVU client might be like comparing a butter knife to a machete.

Nice! Personally I do everything with the mouse; second nature now so apologies if the order is wrong, but:

• Hold LMB + mouse up/down = zoom and rotate.
• Hold RMB + mouse up/down/left/right = pan.
• Mousewheel up/down = zoom in/out. (Though I prefer the click hold, especially since my Deathadder's wheel has been shot for a while.)

Coincidentally, clicking and holding LMB works very similarly in SL as well, if I recall. RMB doesn't though. (Or it might be the other way around.)
