As most of you probably already saw those crazy real Ai videos from that sora ai and ive been thinking to myself that even tho its cool and all and might be useful for documentations, content creation etc. but anywho i think its a very dangerous thing to see since people could just destroy your carrier by making some deepfake adult movies of you or make you do things that you personally did and many people wanted sora to put a watermark on everything so people know that it isnt true but sora hasnt yet talked about that topic.
What do yall think about modern Ai

honestly...im not the biggest fan of ai....we already had the actors/writers strike cuz of it...sure ai can be used as a good tool but i feel like if it falls into the wrong hands it can be used for evil. deepfakes as u mentioned are already an issue and i believe with the growth and advancements of ai it will only get worse...we already have people creating fake nudes out of it x.x

Like most luxuries and benefits we've afforded ourselves, AI is just one more that's been ill-used and abused and had it's true potential tarnished.

I love AI as a principle and a tool; there's so much you can do with it and the possibilities are fantastic, provided it doesn't make people lazy and complacent (which it already has). Be it learning and algorithms, or in my case using things like the smart fill feature on Photoshop for backgrounds.

But sadly I am well aware of some of the heinous stuff it's already been used for and think that overshadows most of the positives. Frankly I don't think the ability and power it offers is worth it for those negatives and we've already proved we can't be trusted with it. That's without the fundamental flaw of most low-brow art-based AI programs being trained off other people's work without credit or comp, if not outright ripping it off. It's a shame, it would've been a cool cyberpunk utopia kind of tool if used more responsibly.
