some one sent me a suggestion that i should try a new sex game called 3dxchat.com. haves anyone even heard or have tried it yet. any input would be helpfull.

i've only heard of it cuz of one guy i know on vu lol bro kept telling me to get it....but u have to pay in order to have an account and download???

I've hear that "Meredian - Multiplayer 3D Sex Game" is basically the same thing as 3dxchat, but much cheaper.

however, from the graphics for the commercial 3DXChat, it looks like they have maybe added more poses and clothes.

idk... i looked at meredian a while back, but kinda lost interest. the graphics are amazing, but you can't do simple things like change the height of the avatars -- they are all the same. coming from imvu, i found it both advanced and primitive.

i visited the meredian forum and asked about avatars, but it was sort of a mess, with somebody claiming to be a dev said they weren't going to change anything about that.

they were supposedly working on a newer version of meredian called "nude". i kept checking back

they had a discord channel, tho the link from the free game app is dead and idk how to find it.

overall, it seems pretty wonky i gotta say.

maybe somebody with more info will speak up too.

Having subscribed to 3DX for several years, I can give you more information to help you make your choice.

firstly, and it's probably the biggest problem of 3DX: No shop
everything that made for the game are made by the dev team as far as we know they are 3 ( previously 2 the 2 founder gizmo & lisa ). So a completely different operating mode compared to imvu, SL or RLC. Since they switched to 64 bit also killed Modding. even if they later added some feature from the popular mod. the fact that there is no shop limits the content available on 3DX expecialy for avatar customisation.

to talk about sexual content, 3DX get way better than in the past. there is now lot of couple pose and most of them also available for FF/MM which makes 3DX interesting from this point of view. negative points: sorely lacking of group pose ( mmf, ffm, 4some , GB.. etc ) and stuff for the BDSM community.

now apart from the sexual content and the lack of customization, there are still 2 important things I'm going to talk about, because in my opinion for many people if they don't like one or the other it's complicated to enjoy 3DX and get bored very quickly unless you dedicate your life to virtual sex for the time you will spend on during the week and knowing the price of the sub.

room editor/room opening & dj groups :

there is a room editor on 3dx that allow you to make room that you can then open. Opening a room on 3DX can be difficult if you don't know what the 3DX community is like.
there are 2 dominant room types on 3DX: sex room and Club room where people come dancing and listening to other member from 3dx djing.

sex room are not that hard to open if the room are well made and open at the right time. Having a bit of luck at the opening the 30 first ming when doing the top. if good room and quickly get like 20 ppl lot of chance of filling it. with 50+ or event 100+ depending room size.

for room clubs, it's more complicated... in general, if you're not associated with a group of djs, it's impossible to fill the room. people always have their favorite room. on a certain day, this room is open, so I go there, or this group opens a new room on a specific theme... etc. fewer people will be curious to come see your room not like sex room and i will not talk about alt account & the " dancer group ". a roundabout way of artificially boosting visitor numbers.

to conclude, concretely, if you think that you can like to build objects or rooms which can make you spend lot of time on the room editor or like a lot music and maybe one day will be tempted to get a radio server & a dj controller... so give it a try ! you will not regret.

you can try it with an illegal first if you want ( meredian, match3d, .. etc ) there are several server but honestly Official 3DX stay better for many reasons. to much Russian people on those server and of course underage people because those server do nothing. ( to be honest they don't have too many solutions for that ).So if you end up fucking underage people and you don't know problem that can come with so better getting sub on 3DX.

until AP+ comes and if imvu stop the bullshit with the crazy product prices for AP+ stuff, 3DX good choice. easy to understand how to use 3DX like imvu compared to SL for newcomer & don't need a huge PC. on smaller configurations, it's mainly room loading that can take time and room with 100+ people with bad building ( Heavy KB size, didn't kill duplicate object,.. etc ).

as it's a friend of you told you about 3dx if you subscribe you won't be alone and it's good too because 3dx it's a jungle. people mostly don't talk public chat and girl get to much PM that even trying to talk to someone. can maybe not seen your message or skip your message if it doesn't attract enough attention.

Now it's up to you to make your choice

I've heard of it, but have never looked into it too deeply. Personally, I think the price doesn't warrant the quality, from what I've seen. Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I get the impression customization and creativity isn't it's strong suit. Couple that with the fact it frankly just looks ..bad. Avatars lack a lot of detail and definition, like they're made out of plasticine or very basic game assets; something that more advanced game-ish programs like Honey Select outdo tenfold.

For what they're charging as a sub, I don't think it's worth it. For that kind of pricing, you might as well get into SL. It's awkward and more hardware intensive, I know. But it's also better value for what you get and what you get to keep; no sub required. AP+ still seems like the worst value of everything that's out there, but I wouldn't say it's that much worse than 3DX from what I've seen.
