Hello darkelf. First of all good job on both your epic win sig (LOL) and your new program.

Simple question:
Does this program let me clean cache for one single product as well?
eg. I make a shirt, I change it, and I want to see how it looks now in-client without having to clear and re-load everything over and over till I think its good, instead, can it clear just that one product?

Unfortunately for this particular release - it doesnt clean single/selected items from the cache...

In order to clean single/selected items, I would have to h4(k into the cache files (which are garbled filenames) in order to display the product ID and its details (like the product name) onto the cachecleaner to erase... that would be pretty time-consuming to make, even more so if the cache files are encrypted.

Lol, that's what I do now, just spend 15 minutes trying to find the right file. Lmao.
Just wondering: can an avatar be wearing items being developed, or do they have to wear it everytime? I'm considering on making it clean only items being worn by avatars if this is of any consolation... decoding those cache files just to find its ID is... painfully hurting my head.

so the question is for developers to tell me: can a develop item be worn while being developed? because if that's what everyone does, then i could do quick adjustments about it.

I noticed the new client seems to have new cache storage, I'll look into fixing the cachecleaner to accomodate in the next update.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. You have to submit an item in order for it to be usable. I don't know why you'd submit something that wasn't finished. However you can edit products after submitting them. But if you just submit an item & don't publish it, then only you can see & use it.

However, I also have issues with that. Sometimes the changes to a product don't show up for me. If they do, it usually takes a long time & sometimes never shows. It's been better lately though. I have to run like 2 cache cleaners & manually empty all the directories & sign in and out of imvu.

I ended up just making my own batch file to empty out most of the directories.

the description is very much a good start - but then again after knowing this, it makes things a little complicated...

that would mean you'd want to remove something specific either from itinerary, from the cache where your avatar is wearing/using it or even the cache section where the old traces under the same product name exist. this means I need to find a decrypter for those cache files... or manually code a h4c|< which takes a lot of time and isn't in my real-life time schedule.

if you want something removed from cache for a specific category - like refresh whatever your avatar is currently wearing, then perhaps the problem can be narrowed down for a quick solution...

This version cleans the new cache placements... on selecting to clean all. I could work on the listed delete function but that entirely depends on how complex will it be...

Awesome, thanks. I wish I could be of more use to the development of this tool.

I'd like any developer who can provide feedback to try this version. it removes developed product caches only. if its good, i'll integrate it onto the main program.

So does this feature solve the problem that was mentioned in previous posts? I await everyone else's test results while making preparations to adding this feature onto the main program.
