I use Firefox customized for security on my main system, all my VMs both Windows and Linux, laptop and my phone. I manage my own security levels myself when the need arises. I sometimes use Chrome when working on our site to make sure everything works but that's about the only time I ever open it.
For me, this is because Chrome is controlled by Google whom I do not trust and I'm trying to break away from their ecosystem. Also, it's designed for the average user so a lot of it's design choices don't appeal to me. I also disagree on a philosophical level with having one browser engine control the market like how IE used to.
Unfortunately Firefox has been trying to copy Chrome in the last few versions but it still offers me more freedom than Chrome.
